Privacy Policy for Workout Timer
This policy explains how the mobile application “Workout Timer - HIIT Training” (also published as “WorkoutTimer” or “筋トレタイマー”; collectively, the “App”) accesses, collects, uses, and shares data. It supplements the General5 Privacy Policy. If the policies differ with respect to the App, this App-specific policy controls.
1. Data handled by the App
Timer settings stored on the device
Workout and rest durations, round and cycle counts, and sound and vibration preferences are stored locally on the user’s device so the timer can operate. General5 does not receive these settings or a history of completed workouts. Users can delete this local data by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App.
Advertising and analytics data
The App uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display ads and Firebase Analytics to understand general App usage. These Google SDKs may automatically collect or share the following data:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate location;
- device, app, installation, advertising, and related identifiers;
- App and ad interactions, such as App launches, screen views, taps, and ad interactions; and
- crash events or logs and diagnostic or performance information, such as device and operating-system information, App version, launch time, and SDK performance.
This data is used for advertising, ad measurement, analytics, service improvement, security, and fraud prevention. Data transmitted by these SDKs is encrypted in transit. Google may process this data as a service provider and advertising partner under its own terms and privacy practices. Support communications
If a user contacts General5 for support, General5 receives the information the user chooses to provide, such as an email address, name, device or App information, and the contents of the inquiry. This information is used only to respond, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and satisfy legal obligations.
2. Health-related functionality
The App is declared as having activity and fitness functionality because users may use the interval timer during exercise. The App does not monitor or infer the user’s physical activity, diagnose or treat any condition, provide medical advice, or create a health or fitness profile. Timer settings and timer operation are not health records and are not transmitted to General5.
3. Permissions and device access
The App uses wake-lock functionality to keep the timer screen operating while in use and vibration functionality when the user enables vibration alerts. The App does not request location, physical-activity recognition, body-sensor, Health Connect, contacts, camera, microphone, or storage permissions.
4. Sharing, retention, and deletion
General5 does not sell health data or other personal and sensitive user data. Advertising and analytics data may be sent directly from the App to Google as described above. Google determines retention for data processed by its SDKs under its applicable policies and controls.
The App does not offer user accounts. Locally stored timer settings can be deleted by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling it. Support communications are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, recordkeeping, or legal obligations. A user may request deletion of support information controlled by General5 by contacting the address below.
5. Children
The App is not specifically directed to children under 13, and General5 does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App. If General5 learns that such information has been provided through a support request without appropriate consent, General5 will take reasonable steps to delete it.
6. Contact and changes
Privacy questions or deletion requests may be sent to support@general5.com.
General5 may update this policy when the App or legal requirements change. The updated policy takes effect when published on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised.

本ポリシーは、モバイルアプリ「Workout Timer - HIIT Training」（「WorkoutTimer」「筋トレタイマー」を含み、以下「本アプリ」）におけるデータへのアクセス、収集、利用および共有について説明するものです。本ポリシーはGeneral5プライバシーポリシーを補足し、本アプリに関して内容が異なる場合は本ポリシーが優先されます。
1. 本アプリが取り扱うデータ
端末内に保存されるタイマー設定
運動・休憩時間、ラウンド数、セット数、サウンドおよびバイブレーションの設定は、タイマー機能を提供するため利用者の端末内に保存されます。General5がこれらの設定や完了した運動の履歴を受信することはありません。利用者は、本アプリのストレージを消去するか本アプリをアンインストールすることで、これらのローカルデータを削除できます。
広告および分析データ
本アプリは、広告表示のためGoogle Mobile Ads SDKを、一般的な利用状況の把握のためFirebase Analyticsを使用します。これらのGoogle SDKは、次のデータを自動的に収集または共有する場合があります。
- おおよその位置の推定に使用される場合があるIPアドレス
- 端末、アプリ、インストール、広告および関連する識別子
- アプリの起動、画面表示、タップ、広告への反応などのアプリ・広告操作情報
- クラッシュイベントまたはログ、端末・OS情報、アプリのバージョン、起動時間、SDKの動作状況などの診断・パフォーマンス情報
これらのデータは、広告配信、広告効果の測定、分析、サービス改善、セキュリティおよび不正防止のために利用されます。SDKから送信されるデータは通信時に暗号化されます。Googleは、サービス提供者および広告パートナーとして、自社の規約とプライバシー方針に基づきデータを処理する場合があります。詳細は「Googleのサービスを使用するサイトやアプリから収集した情報のGoogleによる使用」およびGoogleプライバシーポリシーをご確認ください。
サポートへのお問い合わせ
利用者がGeneral5へ問い合わせた場合、メールアドレス、氏名、端末・アプリ情報、問い合わせ内容など、利用者が任意に提供した情報を受け取ります。これらは回答、不具合調査、不正防止および法的義務への対応にのみ利用します。
2. 健康関連機能
本アプリは、利用者が運動中にインターバルタイマーを使用できるため、「アクティビティとフィットネス」の機能を持つアプリとして申告されています。本アプリは、身体活動の監視や推定、疾病の診断・治療、医療上の助言、健康・フィットネスプロフィールの作成を行いません。タイマーの設定や動作は健康記録として扱われず、General5へ送信されません。
3. 権限と端末へのアクセス
本アプリは、利用中にタイマー画面を動作させるためのWake Lock機能と、利用者が有効にした場合に合図を行うバイブレーション機能を使用します。位置情報、身体活動認識、身体センサー、Health Connect、連絡先、カメラ、マイクまたはストレージの権限は要求しません。
4. 共有、保持および削除
General5は、健康データその他の個人情報・機微な利用者データを販売しません。広告および分析データは、上記のとおり本アプリからGoogleへ直接送信される場合があります。GoogleのSDKが処理するデータの保持期間は、Googleの適用されるポリシーおよび管理機能に従います。
本アプリにはユーザーアカウント機能がありません。端末内のタイマー設定は、本アプリのストレージを消去するかアンインストールすることで削除できます。お問い合わせ情報は、サポート、セキュリティ、記録管理または法的義務のために合理的に必要な期間のみ保持します。General5が管理するお問い合わせ情報の削除は、下記連絡先へ請求できます。
5. お子様
本アプリは13歳未満のお子様を特に対象としたものではなく、General5が本アプリを通じてお子様の個人情報を意図的に収集することはありません。適切な同意なくサポートへの問い合わせを通じて提供されたことが判明した場合は、合理的な削除措置を講じます。
6. お問い合わせと改定
プライバシーに関する質問または削除請求は、support@general5.comへお送りください。
General5は、本アプリまたは法的要件の変更に応じて本ポリシーを改定する場合があります。改定版は本ページに掲載した時点から適用され、最終更新日を更新します。
